Tyler at Fixed Fest Indonesia
CSK family goes world wide. Tyler has been out in Indonesia the past week. Here are some of the first video clips from the contest. Boosting a 3 and some gnarly truck spills. Some nice photos below from our man John Prolly.
Antonyo: Long Night at Work
Well, can't say that I've seen an edit filmed off of a laptop, but if anyone could pull it off, it'd be Antonyo. So if everything in the video is a mirror image, was everything switch? And you have you ask yourself, if it's a long night at work...was he working hard or hardly working? Either way, also good to get in some solo sessions. Thanks for sharing this bud.
Sunny Day in the OC
Mike got in some riding with a few in the OC. All these guys shred for a day's worth of clips. Stoked to see Mike's suicide no handers get dipped further back. CSK repping hard in this one.

Clit Clips 2
I don't even know where to begin with this one. Too many family members to even list out. This is definitely one for the history book records.

Threading for Spike Parts
Caught this picture over the weekend with Nelson Bell and Jake Hanson for Spike Parts.
Wouldn't run any other bars, cranks, sprockets, hubs, bottom bracket spacers, headsets, seats, or seatposts! The know what's going on over there in Taipei!

Know Your Roots
So I think this will be a new addition to some re-occurring posts. This isn't even that old but the final conversation definitely hits on point. There was a time when Tracko and fixedgeargallery were the feeding grounds for the frenzy that has ensued. Don't lose sight of where we came from I guess. Torey, thanks for having your camera on at the right time in the right place.

Zlog Sea Town Fix Up 3
So apparently Zach had been filming for the third installment of STFU3 without really telling anyone. He unleashed this at the ZLOG CAT after party. Make sure to check out all the Northwest Division natives along with a special CSK shout out. Much love and respect for the Zlog Family.

Jumped In: Jonathan Davis
Jonathan Straight Stuntin' |
Well. It's that time again. Please give a warm welcome as we formally jump in Riverside, California's Jonathan Davis.
Unfortunately, I don't have much of an introduction as this interview was probably the most i've exchanged with him beyond some goofy text messages and a few conversations at this past Red Bull event. What I am confident about though is that he is receiving a fraction of the coverage he deserves and we will work diligently to change this! Read and enjoy getting to know this cooky dude. Also to note. Thanks to all photos from: Patrick Taber

CSK: First off, go ahead and introduce yourself. Who are you and is there anything you need to get out in the open before we begin the interview? Also, have you ever been interviewed for fixed gear before?
JONATHAN: Welp! My name is Jonathan Davis, im 20 years old and live in riverside cali. Im not gay and 700c did limit me. Nope Csk is poppin my interview cherry!
You recently set up a new SE frame. What’s up with it and how stoked are you to be on that micro drive tip?
I love it! Best frame i've ever ridden, and is perfect for someone as short as me. The bikes geo is real aggressive and has that bmx feel i look for in a bike frame. AS far as the Micro drive goes, aside from the fact me having to recycle cans and sell blood and semen to afford it, im glad ill never strip any more hubs which has been plaguing me lately.
The denim seat, well ha i really wasnt trying to be stylish with this one. Im just broke and dont have free parts coming to my door. I took my shredded resist seat that ive had since they first started and just re upholstered it, and denim is the toughest shit i had. The seam looked sick haha, and i just cut a hole and hand sewn the resist pivotal hole on it. They were Active jeans. U send me a seat ill do it for you haha.
What kind of super powers does that bionic wrist brace give you?
Shoot i wish it gave me sumthin, all it does is keep my hand from getting broken. Everytime i ride im in alot of pain haha im avoiding a surgery and after my next edit i think im going to have it.
How else do you spend your time outside of bikes? What’s your favorite subject in school?
Well for fun i just ride bikes. Bmx mostly, occasional downhilling and working on and riding motorcycles. School? i hate that shit with a passion but society tells i need to go to be successful. Im going after a elementary teaching degree. Although after 3 years going to college i think the only class ive liked so far was badminton. I work alot as well, haha currently i work as a finish carpenter with my pops, and i fucking hate it. But fixthie dont pay the bills ya kna??!?!
How much footage are you sitting on right now? I’m thinking it’s gotta be close to at least 20 minutes. How soon are you going to share it with the rest of us?
ahhaha i wish it was that much, i have at least 3 minutes and I'm so close to being done but ive just been plagued with breaking bike parts and getting hurt which has been keeping me from doing anything. Maximum it will be out in 2 weeks, but im thinking sooner, just waiting for my hand to get better. I also have a hand full of outtakes and throw away stuff i plan on releasing at sum point as well.
How do you approach riding, do you generate trick lists or just go out and see what strikes you? What type of spot could you ride all day long?
Well, id have to say i do a little bit of both. I only ride with bmxers cuz im the only fixthier in riverside so they know all the good shit. My buddy Pat who is my filmer usually takes me to alot of solid spots and either tell him what i want to do or figure out what i want to do when i get there.
What's your favorite condiment?
Keatchyup
If you were in the MLB, what song would they play when you come up to bat?
Haha well i would never be in the MLB so i think the appropriate question would be if i was in The WWE. And my song would be deff break stuff by limp bizkit!
If you could have a bike session with any 3 other, who would you choose, where would you ride, and why?
Sean burns, colt fake, ty morrow
What is the most personal thing that you are willing to admit?
Im terrified of sharks.
Presta or Schrader?
schradawggggg
To you, what does CSK represent?
The justice league of fixthies.
Is there anything else you need to share that I haven’t covered?
Ummmm, you should prolly come out here and ride. And follow me on instagram @jonnydirt hahahaah
Do you have any questions for me?
What made you come up with CSK?
Practical joke taken way out of the realm of practical and into the land of outlandish.
Will fixies ever be in the X-games?
Mmm. Boothby will be for sure.
Why was i one of the chosen few to be blessed upon the CSK?
See above interview for reasoning.
What are you wearing?
Ha. Shorts and that's it. Just got in from riding.
whats your favorite soda?
Seltzer. Maybe mixed berry seltzer if I'm feeling daring. And i'll drink a can of straight up Cola about 2 times a year when I need that sugar fix.
star wars or star trek?
Wars. hands down. I don't even know what's going on in Star Trek.

Chelsey shared these illustrations with us earlier in the week. Incredibly excited on how they turned out. A great surprise. Absolutely relevant and most definitely useful.
